It all happens on September the 26th at Westlake Boys High School.

Ray Avery: Rebel With A Cause

The remarkable story of Ray Avery, TEDx Auckland 2009 Speaker and New Zealander of the Year 2010. Watch his recent appearance on TVNZ's Sunday show and find out more about the man who is devoted to improving the lives of some of the worlds poorest people.

Ray Avery went from street urchin to champion of the world's poor, overcoming a childhood that would have destroyed many lesser people.

He was once told to do something useful with his life and he did. Now he's a good man using good science to make a difference - and he claims the dollars you give to aid organisations could be doing more harm than good.

Ray has also just published his auto-biography with Random House New Zealand, titled of course 'Rebel With A Cause'.
